DD bday is 11/9, so we are making it a AG week since she too, has 2 days off that week, so we will there doing the events, 11/4,5,8,9, &13th. Are you going to the Elizabeth tea, the 4th?, maybe we could sit near each other or with each other? dd will be 9, how about yours? Maybe we could meet with Katie as well, as I know she is anxious to do a get together, & I beleive AG4Allison is going to be there too.
As for the answer to your question, as soon as walk out on Jackson or Adams, there are taxi's lined up for people coming out of Union station. Just a FYI, there is a MCD's in Union Station, as well as one 1/2 block down from AG and Navy Pier is near AG as well, it is about a 15-20 mins walk (I beleive, I have never walked it, but I know it is nearby)

Oh PS BTW, I stay with my parents in the Northern Suburbs, so I don't know much about hotels in the city.
